Was it caused by a disgruntled worker who wanted a few days off?

Appears to be a Russian made diesel electric sub.
To: Husker24
Yes. It’s a Kilo class diesel-electric sub.

I figured that someone would beat me to the comment.

The Navy is remarkable sensitive about captains who scrape the paint on the toys they are issued.
The sea mount wasn't even marked on any charts. "Discolored water" in the area is a little vague.

There’s still time to get in one about storing combustibles near the head dress and tom-tom locker.

At least they didn’t run into underwater mountains or bridges like the couple of US submarines and boats that did just that in the recent past...

This is the 9th of 10 Kilo class submarines the Indians had Russia build for them. A diesel electric sub commissioined in 1997, so about 16 years old.
It is not either of their newer nuclear subs. One of which is an SSN attack sub, an Akula II they got from Russia, and the other of which is their new SSBN, a nculear SLBM submarine which was just launched.

I told them to hold the curry powder for the lunch meal. They wouldn’t listen.

Discolored water on a chart is not vague, it means probable shallows that haven’t been officially sounded.
