Saudi Arabia is the financing center for terrorist indoctrination and training all around the entire world, plus building mosques in dozens of countries and staffing them with anti-Christian, anti-Semitic teachers to create another generation of hate, murder, and terror in the world.
If Saudi is suddenly giving any money for peaceable purposes I would sincerely doubt the credibility of that interpretation. Not until Saudi stops funding so much of the evil in the world.
ALSO, giving money to the UN to do anything “good” is like giving money to the Pelosi Obama Foundation to fight abortion or protect the American constitution.

The best thing he could do to fight extremism is blow up Mecca and bulldoze the whole thing into a hole in the desert.

“I’m still trying to figure out who Saudi Arabia considers their visible enemies.”

The short answer to your question is that all of us are their visible enemies!

I would encourage you to read the book “Hatred’s Kingdom”. It was written by Dore Gold back in 2003.

The book is all about the Saudis and how they spread their virulent brand of Wahhabi Islam.

This book was such an incredible eye-opener. It permanently changed my perceptions about the Saudis. I think it’ll do the same for most people who read the book.

So...the biggest funder of Islamic Terrorism is going to fund the UNPUNISHED NAZIS (UN) Counter-Terrorism Center?

That’s like Hitler financing a Counter-Holocaust Center.

And Liberal Globalists in both DNC and GOP will cheerlead this

From the Saudi king's words:
". . .posed a greater danger to the Arab community"
i.e. funding the forces supporting the Sunni doctrine (Arabs) to fight their mortal and eternal "Shia(Persian/Iranian) enemy" in the battle for control of the potential resurrection of the Islamic Caliphate.
