Apparently, Moynihan found that American slavery was "the most awful the world has ever known."

Anyone with the smallest knowledge of history could contradict that assertion.

I’ve had meatloaf that’s smarter than MSNBC’s Lawrence “Roast Beef Head” O’Donnell. BOR is like a stopped clock or blind pig.

Blacks are taught to hate from infancy. That is the problem with so many criminals in the black race.

Fortunately, all discussion did not end for Erol Ricketts, a (black) demographer and sociologist with the Rockefeller Foundation who researched the origin of black female-headed families in the 1980s. His studies showed that the black family was thriving from the late 19th century through most of the 20th century.

In the early 60s I went to school with a black kid who had a father who lived in the same house and was married to the kid's mother. I didn't realize that that would become so unusual, but the magic of government made it so.

Is it a tragedy for a child to lose his father?

Obviously, yes.

Why is it not a tragedy for a child to never have a father? Mr. Lawrence O'Donnell, please explain this to this dumb cracka (not yet creepy ass).

Do I have the correct understanding, that Johnson’s Great Society for the most part created the single parent family in Black communities where Black youth grew up resentful and blamed it all on slavery.

So they wound being voters for the party that caused the problem in order to keep the money rolling which perpetuates the problem. They wound up hating white people who are primarily the tax payers funding Great Society programs of which the vast majority’s ancestors never held slaves and many of their ancestors gave their lives to free slaves. And to top it off they hate Republicans, the ones that freed the slaves and promoted civil rights later on.

There’s no logic to any of this.

The future well-being of society depends on strengthening family life.

... "the sacred institution of marriage is vital to the well-being of every nation."

"any hope for renewal of society which does not adhere to God's plan for matrimony and the family is destined to founder, for it is there that the God-given dignity of every person is first realized and the self-esteem necessary for mature adult relationships is first experienced and nurtured."

It was the liberal policies of forced dependency that disintegrated Black families. The 'soft racism of low expectations' has created a very sick society, which Lawrence O'Donnell knows but denies. Many Black families are still in slavery in America, but it is a perverse slavery to liberal policies of dependency, which has completely robbed them of their "God-given dignity".

The roots of black crime are complex, and it’s simplistic to lay it at the door of one single social phenomenon. But illegitimacy, the crumbling black family structure, the flight from Christianity — all turbocharged by misguided government engineering — certainly are major contributors.

Black churches — even as late as the 60s — were the moral centers of the oppressed black community. (Remember, Martin Luther King and the entire southern civil rights movement started in baptist churches ... and to this day charlatans like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton lay claim to that legacy by falsely styling themselves “Reverend.”) That foundation lent the movement the power of Christian conscience, and enabled it to move mountains.

Nowadays, what “moral” center remains in black culture comes from wackjobs like (the “Reverend”) Lou Farrakhan, venial egoists like Jackson & Sharpton, and clownish goons like 50 Cent, Kanje West, and Jay Z-ero.

Look at the history of that moral shift and you will see the decline of black hope writ large.

And it has nothing to do with slavery.

I beg to differ. It has everything to do with their voluntary enslavement to the Democrat Party in exchange for the gimmedat.

Lawrence O’Commie will say anything to get conservatives to stop talking about Black unemployment. It is a result of liberal plantation ownership.
