Oklahoma Republican Sen. Jim Inhofe said Wednesday that he will seek a fourth term in the U.S. Senate, telling supporters be believes liberals are endangering the country and saying he had a successful track record of fighting the president’s administration.

“Washington liberals have our country on a crash course, and it’s doing damage right here at home,” Inhofe said in a statement announcing he was running. “The Obama administration’s destructive policies have resulted in the hollowing of our military, a staggering job market from excessive regulations and a struggling economy from big government spending.”

His re-election bid was anticipated for months, and it lacked the publicity typically associated with such announcements. He told supporters at a private event Tuesday and gave some media advance interviews on an embargoed basis. …

Unless something has changed Inhofe is one of the few Patriots in congress and we need him there.

24 years in the Senate? No thanks! Oklahoma is full of patriots, we can do without him. DC corrupts everyone who goes there, better to get new blood in there on regular intervals.

Inhofe is great. He needs to stay. Too many RINO’s pretending to be TEA party are out there ready to run. The last thing OK needs is another Rubio, McCain, or Grahamnesty pretending to a conservative take his place.

My congressman is a National Guard member, a “patriot” and a “grassroots conservative” with NO votes on certain issues many of which passed with Boehner’s YES support.

John Boehner came by this week to do a fundraiser for him with 500 and 750 dollar contributions.

Over 90 percent of the people we elect fake it with NO votes to appease us back home while they are all part of the “same team” doing whatever they can to help RINO leadership they elect to serve in those posts.

I’ve backed Inhofe for senate, along with Sessions, Risch, and Scott. They’re the only ones worthy of re-election this cycle, and because of how Maine is, we have to reelect troll Susan Collins. ugh.

I would not trust anyone who would let Boehner campaign for him.

Senator Inhofe has done a good job for us, I’ll vote for him again. If you want to toss him out, figure out a way to get rid of Schumer, Boxer, Feinstein and McCain first, then maybe we’ll talk.

Senator Coburn did a good job for a while too, both as a Representative and as Senator, but sadly something happened to him and he seems to have lost touch with his constituents and Oklahoma values. Happily, he has self-limited and will not be running again. I wish him well but it is time for him to return to private life.

I believe in term limits, it’s the ONLY way to get rid of the corruption in DC. Since our politicians will NEVER give up their power voluntarily, it is up to us as citizens to take that decision out of their hands.

While doing that, we will lose some good along with the bad. I am FINE with that. It is far better to lose the good than discover they have become bad (with 5 years left in their term).

I will NEVER vote for ANY candidate more than twice. Two terms in office is more than enough.
