In his first interview since his supervised release from prison, the filmmaker behind “Innocence of Muslims” told The Daily Caller that he “has no regrets” and promises more films and books about Islam.
Nakoula Basseley Nakoula is the only person who has been imprisoned in the aftermath of the organized Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in which the ambassador and three other Americans were killed. He was wholly unconnected to the attack and was imprisoned on technical probation violations.
“The first reason I am writing this book is to tell the world we never forget our heroes and the second reason is to tell [everyone] that I’m not afraid,” Nakoula writes in a foreword obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller.
“I want the world to see the truth,” Nakoula told TheDC over the phone.

He has been an FBI asset before, and it’s possible they cut him a break on some form of punishment in return for his agreement to act as Bengazi fall-guy.

There were four versions of Nakoula's movie.
Only the final one was forwarded, by persons unknown, to Sheikh Khalid Abdullah the cleric in Cairo who aired it on TV. Nakoula, the maker of the original film, was not the one who uploaded the final version, Innocence of Muslims, to the internet.

The genesis and distribution of “Innocence of Muslims” is a complicated and convoluted story. Much of which is still hidden behind a veil of secret government websites.
This guy is a Coptic Christian whose people are being presecuted and murdered in Egypt by muslim fundamentalists because of their faith.

Some kid and newby driver pulled out in front of me on a straightaway; it took everything I had just to avoid a head on and undoubtdly fatal collision.

At this point, to quote a Benghazi Expert, “what difference does it make”, that is the video, which had nothing to do with the attack. I can’t see wasting too much time on trying to understand the video.
The central points are, what was Amb. Stevens doing there on 9/11 without a heavy guard?
Why was a rapid response team not dispatched immediately?
Why was a fast mover not dispatched immediately, even without taking time to arm, just to show some muscle ASAP?
Why was an AC-130 Spooky not dispatched immediately?
Why have the surviving staff been hidden away and required to sign confidentiality oaths?
Where was Obama during all of this?
Assuming that the building itself (”the White House said”) has not yet learned to talk, which individual was answering tactical calls from Libya?

I believe that Obama was playing golf during all this.
He certainly wasn’t paying any attention to American interests, something which he is very reluctant to do.

I didn’t disagree with anything the producer had to say. Maybe freedom of speech is worth something after all. I might even see his film if he is allowed to finish it, and I am allowed to see it.
Did his film cause the September 11th Benghazi attacks? Of course not.
The Obama administration has taken sides, but it is not the American side that they have taken.

I clicked on the second link and watched it. It is not a link to the movie. It is a link to commentary about the video.
There are a few tell-tale signs about the ideology of the commentator. The next video that (currently) comes up has the title: “Paul Ryan may have broken up with Ayn Rand, but their extreme ideas sound awfully similar.” Between one thing and another, I have no confidence in the commentary, which is all we really have here.
Maybe by following all your links some composite picture comes into view. But so far, what I have (from the posted article) are the words of a Coptic Christian critical of Islam.
A superficial and easy-going approach is that all religions are the same. But I think that is just not true. I think Islam is as much a political movement as it is a religion. 20th/21st Islam may warrant critical examination. It certainly is associated with a lot of terrorism the world over.
