Well, after what the Islam-o-Nazis and lib press put him through, I’m not at all surprised. Pray he’s OK.
The proceedure itself is no biggee. Have had 3 put in myself.
Pretty sore afterwards though and you can expect at least a year on potent blood thinners.
ObamaCare won’t look for no blockages. This will save money for the masses.
I’ve had 2 stents in same artery and lastly angioplasty. They use anticoagulant meds. It is a remarkable procedure.
Hate to be the party pooper, but stents are riskier and work no better (perhaps not as well) as using medication. They seem to work miracles, because the results are quick, but the long term safety and efficacy are not as good as using drug therapy.
I know... nobody will agree with me. Doctors are too hooked on invasive procedures when simpler, safer measures are better.
I only worry because someone I worked with had a stent put in and was dead the next month. I think it was a heart attack. But he made have had pre-existing conditions that Bush doesn’t have.
There’s always a chance that a blood clot will develope at the site of the stent placement but that is usually mitigated by the blood thinners.
