It sure as hell isn’t Chris Christie! He needs to switch his party affiliation to the party that most closely represents his beliefs (Hint: It ain’t Republican.)

"Bill O'Reilly posted a poll on billoreilly.com last week asking viewers, Who do you foresee as emerging to lead the Republican Party?

Rand Paul

Chris Christie

Marco Rubio

Someone else"

Nothing like salting the contents of the question.

Any surprise that Rand Paul comes in first? Where is my man Ted Cruz?

Hardly surprising from O'Reilly.

How do they know he won? The poll is still open and it doesn’t show the tally.

Your link says "bill oreilly" but goes to http://www.dailypaul.com/295005/rand-paul-winner-of-bill-oreilly-fox-news-poll.

What's up with that?

http://www.billoreilly.com/poll-center currently goes to a Paul - Christie - Rubio - other poll, which is taking votes but not showing results (gotta tune in — but I don't have a TeeVee. Screw O'Reilly!).

The word “lead” and “Republican” cannot objectively exist in the same sentence. Perhaps there is a leader out there that also happens to be a Republican but if the Republican party learns of him he is certain to be trounced upon, slandered, dissed, smeared and rejected by the party establishment.

What difference does it make? Any good principled candidate will be a real conservative and will be outside the Republican Party. Actually the only one in place for the Republican nomination is Jeb Bush. No one else seems to be actually running yet and a serious candidate has to be running throuth a couple of election cycles before the one that gets him tne Nom.Even Reagan did that. He ran hard for 10-12 years, getting his support lined up. Tthe Conservatives are dithering.

Lead? Trying not to laugh. No one I am going to care about. There are no leaders in this republican party. I am inclined to sit back and let the dem-o-criminals take it all until it all comes tumbling down. Then perhaps real patriot leaders will step up. That’s even doubtful. This war is lost. GOP are Whigs to me. Think for a moment where we might be if Fred had stuck it out, smacked down McPain, and then washed the walls with Obama. He caved. Nope, there are no leaders any longer. My hope has changed. Just going to teach my kids to survive the storms.

“The GOPe will not be happy with this poll.”

Meh—the GOPe and Roves’ polls all say Christie. They’re working overtime to get their boy a head start.
