While Winfrey may be one of the most recognizable faces on the planet, she apparently doesn't have as big a fan base in Switzerland. Winfrey tells O'Dell that while in Zurich for Tina Turner's wedding she left the hotel to go shopping by herself and was denied service when the clerk assumed that Winfrey wouldn't be able to afford the bag she was asking to see.
When asked if she has ever been called the N-word, Winfrey explained that, for her, sexism seems to be the bigger issue.

An arrogant, ungrateful billionaire who wants to use the tax dollars whitey pays the feral government to bully whitey some more.
She would have fit right in with those big, fat, mean, black lesbians who climbed over the McDonald's counter to give an #%%-whooping to the uppity n-word serving them, only to have him DEFEND HIMSELF.
Big, fat, mean black biotches consider it to be racism when they are prevented from giving #%%-whoopings, especially by an uppity n-word.
A couple of years ago she accused Hermis Department Store in Paris of racism because they refused to open after hours for Oprah and her lover, Gail King to do some shopping at their convenience.
She’s an elitist cow.
More White people have been murdered by blacks since the civil rights act was passed than blacks were lynched post War Between the States and the 1920’s.
The assumption that she couldn’t afford the bag was likely based on how she was dressed rather than the color of her skin.
Total Horse Shoot.
You pull out an Amex Green or a Black Card and they will ring it up, period.
Well if she went shopping by herself the shop must have been in her apartment because she demands to be driven across the street rather than walk.
Shopping or leaving her apartment by herself is nothing but BS.
;-)
Who gives a crap? When we start worrying about all races then maybe I will but until then this overwrought sense of emotionalism and whining about blacks is just a big boo hoo.
I think Obama & Oprah know that most people in this country wouldn’t want to be anywhere near them; I wouldn’t open the door if either of them rang.
This just proves the point that no matter what is given to the whiners they will never be satisfied.
So she becomes a multi-gazillionaire in the United States — race notwithstanding — but the Swiss think she’s a shoe-shine maid. Yet when she flaps her jowels about “racism,” she points at at the US as an example and doesn’t mention anywhere else?
This isn’t a person concerned with outing racism. It’s an America-hater singing a tired old song. Eight-hundredth verse ... same as the first ...
A billionaire suffering a recent case of Racism,What a Joke. When I was a kid I grew up I the inner city and went to the local inner school.Where I suffered every manner of Racism from the black members of that. Student.
Body.
So I get damned tired of hearing everyday that blacks were victims of racial discrimination.Poor whites were also victims.
Who are the racists?
"The Tuskegee Institute has recorded 3,446 blacks and 1,297 whites were lynched between 1882 and 1968."
Apparently the whites lynched were Republicans lynched by Democrats.
she can dry her tears with $1,000 bills..
Switzerland is sounding pretty good..
We kinda poo-poo this but there is a lot of racism outside the US. The Japanese and Chinese treat it like an art form.
And then there were those other lynchings such at the four notorius outlaws in Ada, Oklahoma. That famous photo from 1909 shows Jim Miller and three others strung up in a barn because the citizens were weary of outlaw escaping justice with the help of fancy lawyers.
I love bees!
So how does what happened to her in Switzerland have any meaning here? I agree with another Freeper. She was really upset that the clerk didn’t recognize her, since she is such an important person. *gag*
