Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan ‘left free’ to kill
Sunday Telegraph (UK) ^ | 8:00AM BST 04 Aug 2013 | Jon Swaine

Wielding a high-powered pistol and crying “Allahu akbar!”, (Major Nidal Hasan) shot dead 13 people and wounded 32 others at the Fort Hood military base in Killeen, Texas, on 5 November 2009. Hasan, who proudly admits to carrying out the attack, is due to stand trial from Tuesday for 13 counts of murder and 32 of attempted murder. He faces a potential death sentence.

Survivors, however, remain furious that even as he grew more openly radicalized, Hasan was left untroubled by military authorities who have still not been held to account for failing to prevent his massacre.

Despite warning classmates that Muslim-American troops might be obliged to kill comrades, and even being spotted by the FBI having email exchanges with Anwar al-Awlaki, the late Yemen-based al-Qaeda cleric, Hasan was promoted to Major and left free to carry out the worst ever killing spree on a US military base. A group of 148 victims and their relatives are now suing the US government for $750 million (£491 million) and demanding that the military “meet its responsibilities to those harmed by its negligence.” …

Government and military authorities were too busy finding all those tattooed, potentially dangerous right winger soldiers in our midst. NSA, FBI too busy recording every body white, looking at emails, recording conversations - all to entrap unsuspecting citizens into something illegal.

Meanwhile, CAIR and its Muslim Ilk operate freely. Hijab wearing plants sue employers, supposed upstanding Muslims condemn NOTHING their jihadist brothers and sisters do no matter how horrendous. FBI/NSA/DHS can’t find or do shit except lie afterwards when something happens they should have stopped.

The Army did not want to discipline or in any way discourage their only Muslim Major. Hassan’s chain of command was under the impression that it would be a huge black-eye on the Army if they did not actively support “diversity”.

As a matter of fact, AFTER the shooting a fellow with more brass than brains resting on his shoulders came out and stated that, as tragic as the shooting was, it would be “more” tragic is “diversity” were to suffer as a result.

Which begs the question, how many blood sacrifices must we offer up to the god of “diversity”? How many young men and women should we leave on the bloody altar as offerings?

Is exercising common sense and basic objectivity really so abhorrent that we can’t allow it in our society any more?

It’s disgusting that it’s taking so long. Plus the terrorist is still getting a pay check. What the heck is wrong with our military “leaders?”

Hasan was a mentally disturbed tortured homosexual. His superiors were well aware of his bizarre ideation. However political correctness prevented them from acting. Why they would be considered bigots if they persecuted this poor Muslim homosexual. Political correctness is delusional thinking and has terrible consequences.

I don’t believe our government has the guts to start this trial on Tuesday. We shall see. Still getting a paycheck. I wonder if he could apply for retirement?

He’ll probably get to keep his pension. Only in America.

November 2009 to August 2013 - 3.6 years just to start a trial where the accused has already confessed to the crime yet interminable discussions as to beard and other topics move the wheels so slowly as to make glaciers seem to be NASCAR candidates. A mockery of the truism of “Justice delayed is justice denied!”

And another Sunday rolls around where the Brit press is miles ahead of any US coverage on a US event.

The murdered and wounded soldiers, on duty, killed by an enemy agent still haven’t received their purple hearts.

Meanwhile our Congress gave Band-Aid, rice wounded, and known traitor, John Kerry the job as Secretary of State.

Maybe we should invite British journalists to illegally immigrate to the US. They’re doing the journalism that American journalist refuse to do.

Have read that he renounced his US citizenship and that will end his pension and pay. I am not an authority on such stuff, but makes sense.

Won’t make any difference, he won’t need money where he is going. A little air conditioning and water would be more appropriate, but don’t expect that to be available.

The government knew about Hasan... and did nothing. They knew about the Chechen brothers... and did nothing. There was info (Able Danger) about the 9/11 perps being up to something... and they did nothing.

They only catch these guys when:
A: They’re completely incompetent and the public does the DHS’s job.
B: It’s a sting.
C: After they’ve killed.

I guess they just don’t understand that our diversity is our strength and having the occasional bloodthirsty pathological terrorist lunatic ensconced in the military keeps our fighting force righteously “diverse.”
