George Zimmerman had been elected and deputized by his racially-diverse community to enforce their collective right to home security and property protection. He was put on trial for the shooting death of a black 17-year-old named Trayvon Martin on the evening of February 26th, 2012.
The moment America got the false impression that Zimmerman was white and probably a Jew, the very same racial racketeers who had raised full-throated stand your ground and castle doctrine defenses for John White, a black man who shot to death an unarmed 17-year-old white boy in Miller Place, New York back in 2006, were suddenly denouncing Zimmerman as a cop wannabee who should have stayed in his truck. [see my essay Before Trayvon Martin]
The notorious Al Sharpton, who is now what passes for a journalist on MSNBC, spent his on-camera time trying to drum up a lynch mob against Mr. Zimmerman, using racially inflammatory rhetoric and biased imagery...

Zzzzzz....enough already with this story.
That seems to be laying it on a bit thick, I would like to see the selection process, learn what "deputized" means, and what "enforce" means.
He could have used milder language to start his piece.
indeed
that article is as welcome as yet another 911 truther conspiracy
if you don't like the story, the solution is easy, don't click on the thread, dummy.
GZ should apply to be a cop, wherever he would be accepted. That would poke the eye of the racists.
He needs to STAY on the offensive.

It's called love ...
I am sick of hearing about Trayvon. He was an idiot who should have went home.
He didn’t. The trial is over.
Story over.
Beat me by 20 seconds!!
Hopefully during civil actions, the truth about Trayvon Martin will be revealed. He is not a role model.
This is a tragedy. That is all.
The Hoodie at the Smithsonian? Talk about waving the bloody shirt......
Proof that this story - that so many self-proclaimed FReepers are expressing a bored disinterest in - is by no means dead.
Now comes the period when the horrendous miscarriage of justice that led an innocent man to be brought to the bar without probable cause will be laid bare.
Whoever signed the PCA (was it Dale Galbreath?) has got to be sweating.
The "false impression" was a pre-programmed package conjured up by attornys Parks and Crump, et al .
The packeage included the law firm hired by the Martin family
a publicist
a local Sanford Florida lawyer
a "social engineering lawyer"
and an advertizing agency with Washington political connections .
The IMAGE was of Trayvon was sold by the media to the public, to the politicians ,to the "race baiters", and the "race baiter" organizations
..but not the truth !!
The American public devoured the package promoted by the media , rather than deal with the 'real issues' of the day
..or the 'bumps in the road'
..or the 'phoney scandals' .
The American public preferred the conjured up package, rather than deal with truth and reality !
I see the death as needless. If the kid would have simply gone home and not tried to prove what a ‘man’ he was, he would be alive still screwing up today.
I can’t actually call it a tragedy, but I understand what you mean. For me it’s a national disgrace that so many people would perceive this to be a matter of race, and not one of law and order.
You may offend me, but I can’t use lethal force against you unless you are trying to kill me. This is a pretty simple concept. Not grasping that on a personal level is just sad, but when it expands out across large portion of a racial demographic and is politicized as this has been, it’s a national disgrace.
The hoodie at the Smithsonian? The big lie of our morally bankrupt national disgrace is about to be ensconced into the fabric of our nation.
Some folks in our nation who will go un-named, should be hanging their heads in shame. They should be embarrassed to have shown the world how utterly clueless they are. This has set back how much a person can respect a whole group of people.
I find that very troubling.
should have gone home, not should have went.
