I think it's a great idea. Your suggestion reminds me of my own vocation as real estate broker in New York City. The most sought after, toniest residences are very well-maintained, ruled by ironfisted Co-op boards with rules that control everything down to the most mundane of details. Those living in the building go up to their apartments through the front entrance guarded by a doorman, while those in the process of moving in/out, those bringing items brought back from the supermarket can only use the back entrance.
It is a most familiar sight to all in the fancy Co-ops, condominiums throughout the city about bringing items up to the residences, the front entrance festooned with the sign "All Deliveries Through The Rear".
