I have heard that ratings do not matter. The cable companies pay the costs. Cable subscribers pay monthly for channels that are in the subscriber list.

Behind CNN? CNN can’t even spell news!

I refuse to pay for this channel and other liberal crap stations. I have long ago canceled any type of cable or satellite. If more would do this MSNBC and others would be out of business.

My math skills are not the best in the world so maybe someone can tell me what a 12 percent loss of viewership means when they only had 5 viewers to begin with

MSNBC Collapses to Fourth Place: Loses 12% of ViewersI'm pretty sure this is a mathematical impossibility, unless one of them lost a leg.
To: RetiredTexasVet
Actually, they are now behind CNN twice - behind regular CNN and CNN Headline News.
To: Sarah Barracuda
It means one of the five is only partly watching half the time.

RE: “Morning Joe” lost -4% of its viewers, -8% in the 25 to 54 demo. Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O’Donnell all took huge hits over last year. Hayes is down -27%, O’Donnell’s down -29%, and Maddow slid -19% in total viewers.
What about Al Sharpie? What were his ratings?
And what about Chris Matthews?

Lucky for me, I can not even get PMSNBC or Commie News Network. I do get FOX and Aljazera via my G-Sat.

They’ve lost 12% of their viewership? They’d better do something or the other 88 people might leave, too.
