WASHINGTON Unemployment rates rose in nearly all large U.S. cities in June as college graduates and many of those still in school began searching for jobs.

Obviously we need a raise in the minimum wage............
focused... like a laser beam.
And “invest” in roads, bridges, and teachers....
focused... like a eraser beam........
I’m a bit surprised. I thought the conversion of the masses of laborers to “29ers” and the hiring of additional “29ers” would actually reduce the rate somewhat, at least until the 2014 midterms.
Someone should tell the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, which is claiming that the joblessness rate fell in 282 of 373 metro areas.
Give it more time perhaps... I know a lot of 29ers picking up additional PT work for the summer. May see a small drop as they go back to college.
Unexpectedly.
There. I said it.
In addition to minimum wage increases, tack on more H-1B high tech workers, inrease immigration and grant amnesty to the illegal ones here. Does wonders for job opportunities for college grads, high school grads and unemployed Americans looking for jobs. Somehow Dems and RINOS don’t see the connection on increasing the supply of workers to the small amount of jobs available has on employment rates.
If facts are not on your side, just pulls some you like out of your ass.
None of this is believable.
Those folks should relax. THEIR Obama promised them “shovel ready” jobs....
Besides, I’ve read that some very good meals can be made from stuff found in dumpsters.
Obama calls this “green shoots”.
Recovery Summer 5.0 is proceeding as expected.
