On Fox News Sunday, Chris Wallace went after Treasury Secretary Jack Lew over the investigation—or lack thereof, in Wallace’s estimation—of alleged targeting by the IRS of conservative 501(c)(4) groups. The IRS scandal—which had receded in recent weeks after an audit by the Inspector General revealed progressive groups were scrutinized in addition to conservative organizations, and produced no evidence linking the behavior to a political appointee—was revived this week when President Barack Obama’s invoked “phony scandals” in his speech in Galesburg, Illinois. Obviously, Lew is the white-collar equivalent of “The Cleaner” in Pulp Fiction.
Where are the “perp walks”?
What progressive groups were ‘scrutinized’ and what were the effects of the ‘scrutiny’? If their approvals were delayed by a few days while conservative groups’ approvals were delayed by a few years, there’s no comparison between the two.
You know, some day, the truth will come out on all of this. Not even Soros and the Clintons can pay off everyone, in 2016, there should be MUCH fewer political favors to give out; scandal books WILL written (they are probably being written now).
These bastards need to worry about THAT and come clean now to save themselves.

Wallace never destroys anybody.
Not so with Jack Lew. Almost two months ago, the legal debt ceiling was exceeded. No move from Lew to prevent it. No acknowledgement that it occurred. The only thing we have is that the official reporting of debt from the Treasury Department has been stuck at $16.699 trillion for over two months.
This Administration is currently spending money that it is not legally authorized to spend. It is borrowing money that it is not legally authorized to borrow. And Jack Lew sits in the middle of it. Geithner saw the writing on the wall and got out when he could. Now we have a professional criminal taking his place.
No progressive groups were targeted. That’s just another liberal lie.

The Current Regime may have suddenly realized they are treading in a mine field, one of largely their own making.
The Third Reich developed a land mine known to GIs as the “Bouncing Betty”. The Nazi troops planted these at such a profligate rate that even today, there are undiscovered mines that may be duds, but they have lain in the soil for six or seven decades. Of course, the Germans were also very meticulous about RECORDING where they put the mines (so as to prevent stepping on their own mines), something the Soviets and many of the developing nations that resorted to this sort of anti-personnel weaponry have not been prone to undertake.
The Current Regime has freely sown these land mines about, but because they have a Third-World mentality, they are continually stumbling on their own handiwork.

OT, but what’s with all these stupid headlines of late that So-and-So “Destroys” somebody in an interview? They are all juvenile shouting matches instead of carefully reasoned and calculated debates thoughtfully delivered. It is all unwatchable drek. And nobody has ever been “destroyed” in one of these shout-fests.
