Make no mistake. He is saying this because he knows Yesha Jews are about to be betrayed in a massive capitulation.

It's not as miserably hot as I imagined it to be. Water must be scarce, though.

The average fraction of time spent in various temperature bands: frigid (below 15°F), freezing (15°F to 32°F), cold (32°F to 50°F), cool (50°F to 65°F), comfortable (65°F to 75°F), warm (75°F to 85°F), hot (85°F to 100°F) and sweltering (above 100°F).

[snip] In late 1954, secret negotiations, known as Project Alpha, between the U.S., Britain, Egypt, and Israel began. Project Alpha was designed to come up with a permanent solution to the problem of Palestine. What Nasser wanted was physical connectedness with Jordan. He was will to let Jordan have all the connecting land including the Gaza Strip. To do this, Israel would have to give up the Negev Desert. [/snip]

He’s just an old Commie holdover from Europe. One of the g-dless Bundniks. He’s the living definition of “sell-out”. There is a bubbling dark vat of eternally burning oil waiting for him in Gehennem. I have had nothing but complete contempt for him, ever.

How bout sending that wart on the backside of Israel to live in the Negev, instead of his cushy palace in Jerusalem?

Interesting, there are few Jewish communities and bus routes are still relatively sparse. No bus lines because no one lives there? Obama would build high speed rail

I actually think the Negev is very pretty.

It is dry, dry, dry. Well water and reclaimed water are key.

I will say the arabs there are bedouins and are pretty square folks.
