(original title, had to be shortened to fit):Bloodbath in Cairo: More than 120 dead and 1,000 injured after police 'shoot to kill' in violent clashes which have rocked Egypt
More than 120 people are believed to have been killed at a protest in support of Egypt's ousted President Mohammed Morsi, according to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Security forces are reported to have started shooting demonstrators shortly before pre-dawn morning prayers at a round-the-clock vigil in Cairo being staged by backers of Morsi, who was removed from power by the army three weeks ago.
Makeshift field hospitals around the area near the Rabaa al-Adawiya mosque were overwhelmed, with one doctor telling the BBC that more than 1,000 had been injured.

The imams are probably frothing at the mouth while whipping up the bearded thugs.
How many have to die before Hillary is eligible to be awarded the Nobel “Peace” prize? The commies have to give it to her if she is going to be crowned as the new POTUS.
A weekend in Chicago.
I don’t think Obama was required to do anything, let alone be responsible for scores of deaths, before he got his Nobel Peace Prize.
That the Nobel committee won’t award one to Hillary is proof they are sexist!
Dear Egyptian military;
The MB is a racist/marxist terrorist group that derives its power from hostile groups and nations that would see you subjugated. If you want to join the family of modern nations, kill as many of them as you can.
Uhhh,, democracy works.. sort of.. it is the middle east after all.
The MB figure the higher the body count the more press they’ll get. They care nothing about the people, only power.
12%? Poor effectiveness unless they're trying to defocus the rest by forcing 'em to carry and tend wounded.
If they did better I'd recommend using these guys on our "Occupy" demonstrations.
The Egyptian military needs to learn about the old double tap. This could have been really successful with that.
Exactly- plus unless we get some multiple and credible reports- why should we believe 120 were killed?
These MB are good at disinformation.
the ones with the best snipers win!
The headline is meant for the bored. Oooh, entertainment! Big bloodbath numbers, nevermind the reality is much smaller.
The army can’t get cold feet now, but the Muslim Brotherhood probably loves the headlines and pictures. The army needs to deliver a crippling blow to the MB before Obama and the rest of the Islamists force them to stop.
wth is going on? The Egyptian military used to be pretty patriotic and controlled, their officers educated in Europe and the US
somehow I suspect we are not getting the whole story here
Gadzooks! One hundred-twenty true believers dead for Allahu? Where, oh where... will they find the 8,639 vestal virgins to go with Helen Thomas to greet the new arrivals?
Damnit, listen to me! Get word to Morsi that finding a single virgin, much less more than eight thousand... among my supporters is impossible!
This violence, and the military’s response, was as predictable as the rising sun. Yet, the rock-throwers are still busy throwing rocks. It can’t, at this point, be a surprise that the army is shooting back. Since rocks are unlikely to inflict damage why don’t they go home and think of another way to “protest?” The traditional Islamic bomb vest comes to mind. Is there some “face” here that I don’t understand? Perhaps somebody familiar with the culture can respond?
I hate to say it but it is not necessarily a bad thing for Morsi supporters to be killed. 120 less potential terrorists
You mean Benghazi Hillary?
Way back when, Arab leaders (among them Assads, Husseins, and Mubarek) knew that if they wanted to die of old age they needed to kill as many of the Muslim Brotherhood as they could.
Nasser learned that lesson well, and while recovering made a lifetime commitment to strangle the Muslim Brotherhood.
Sadat didn't learn so well, but Mubarek tried to strengthen Nasser's policy.
However the traditional successful control of the MB consisted of several Arab leaders killing tens of thousands of them in nations all over the Middle East.
Until our own Hussein threw in with 'em, that is.
At a certain point Muzzies use the cover of unrest and the darkness of night to settle old scores of all types. Never let a good crisis go to waste and what not.......
"Taking the eye off the ball".
Notice how the MSM sides ONLY with Morsi and his
slavers and crucifiers.
Being awarded the Nobel has become a very low insult. Race baiters and flying carpet lovers seem to be getting most of them now along with Lunatics.
yes, to their own people
compare their military’s relationship to civilians to that of any military in the middle east (or Asia or Africa for that matter) and don’t swallow the leftist BS
been to Egypt many times, been hosted by their military, good people and quite respectful of the US
but not much tolerance for terrorists and radicals looking for an Islamic revolution
remember who took in the Shah for dignified burial when Jimmy Carter bowed to the Iranian rev guard
at least in the good old days when they were true allies
Just to make certain.
The Muslim Brotherhood claim they are willing to die for their faith; so what’s their problem?
Islam places no value on life, so why are they complaining now that their followers are dying for their cause?
just a generation or two Egyptians were wearing western clothes, skirts and suits to college.... now they are becoming just another Burkastan
People are dying because of BO’s clueless foreign policy.
Notice how the MSM sides ONLY with Morsi and his
slavers and crucifiers.
i have to believe that there is multiple levels of conspiracies in this world. you would think that with the huge influence of american jews in the msm, they would want the truth to come out about the muslim brotherhood. something is weird.
the lower classes started going islamic dress at least 20 years ago
the middle and upper class Egyptians were contemptuous of it and saw it as a political statement by the poor and the rebellious to look pious and rebuke “the system” from which the poor felt disenfranchised
kinda like hoodies!
In Turkey, Ataturk knew what he was doing when he banned the veil
who’da thunk that 20 years later all the women in Egypt would be going under the veil for their own and their family’s protection from zealots and islamic Bolsheviks in their own society
Just remember that the Muslim Brotherhood has a fantastic PR and propaganda wing from which the AQ and Taliban copied their public affairs programs. In other words - don’t believe a word from the MB.
Morsi needs to if he hasn’t already done so ship his two sons who were born in the USA back to he USA where with all the Muslims now in the this Nation the boys could/would be elected POTUSA because they were born in the USA. That is according to some people who only count place of birth as to eligibility.
Yet another day in muzzie paradise.
I have a feeling Morsi is dead. Otherwise he would be forced to ask his supporters to stop protesting.
My father was career Navy, but before that he was US Army.
A memorable bit of his Army training was riot duty. They were trained to shoot the leader and shoot to kill.
This was the US Army training for American riots.
Yes a long time ago. He was later just home on shore leave 7 Dec 1941.
Hey Bender maybe Obama want keep up the riot until Al Jazeera America go online until August 20 then he step in the ratings
Money, bribes, kickbacks
Pi$$ poor shooting indeed——That’s reminding me of the incident in India when the Brits weren’t ready to leave yet and a bunch of Indian protesters confronted a Limey platoon. the Brits had 400 rounds of ammo and eliminated 399 rebels. The Brit Colonel apologized to the investigating Parliamentary committee for the unaccountable miss “no excuses sir, one of us just missed”.
It’s worth recognizing that the Egypt military has a serious axe to grind with the Morsi’s. The Army pretty much runs the industrial side of the economy and Morsi was putting it into the terlet. Tourism, their biggest cash draw, was/is pretty much dead, and the Army is going to have trouble meeting payroll. And notice the difference in the crowds: Morsi’s are scruffy old bureaucrat type guys with baggy pants who really don’t have the oomph to put up much of a fight and are most likely really skeered for their kushy jobs.
As long as the MB savages are allowed to stir trouble there will be no peace. 120 out of 1000 is really bad shooting so I’m calling BS on the “shoot to kill” lie. The muslim brotherhood needs to be eliminated.
Look more closely at the crowds. Both the Army and the anti Mubarraks are highly westernized, right down to their Nikes. It’s only the Morsi’s who are the retro knuckle dragging, baggy pants, 12th century types. Over the long haul I’m betting on the young crowd to run out of patience with the flying carpet bunch.
Behold, I am Set, the creator of confusion, who creates both the tempest and the storm throughout the length and breadth of the heavens.

That's another valuable viewpoint, while a little loose in the economic definition, the Army responds to the producers rather than the self appointed Islamic elite betters, too good to produce, destined to live lavishly in exchange for issuing suicide bombing orders.
