My aunt had a simple test which cost her $70.00. Medicare did not pay; nor, did her Medicare supplemental plan.

At least she was allowed to pay for the test.

Medicare doesn't pay for everything. As for the supplemental policy paying or not paying, there are many different policies and many different companies providing, so, the general rule is that the more you pay, the better the coverage.

From my perspective, the Advantage Plan is/was a better deal than supplemental coverage.
