During the Depression, feeding your children, especially at the expense of yourself, I would gladly consider that an act of love.
Today, I'm not buying it. With the prevalence of fast food and easy welfare dollars, feeding your kids is for keeping them out of your hair while you take selfies and party with your friends.

If food is love, then first lady Michelle Obama says we are “loving ourselves and our kids to death.”
I agree , lets start by making it illegal to purchase cookies , cakes , sodas, chips , snacks and tons of other processed fast foods with EBT cards.
Every time I see an obese person waiting in line at the grocery check out with a cart full of nothing but junk they are paying with EBT cards .
