Maybe after that he thought he would never get caught.
Guess again.
Signed.... A pissed off Astros fan.
Time for anything goes sports. Steroids, cocaine, HGH, etc..
They already have the All Drug Olympics:

Potential bad news for the Rangers if they nail Cruz, he’s the only one who’s been hitting for them, recently.
Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame!!!!
This is the first time I have ever agreed about anything in baseball with a Yankees fan. Time to buy a Powerball ticket.
Certainly what Braun did was wrong as he has acknowledged. I truely respect anyone who will accept the responsibility for his actions and Braun has certainly done that with his statement. I now await all the other primadonnas to con forth with their admissions and “begs” for forgiveness.
OK, I’m waiting.................
Don’t hold your breath.
Gambling on baseball when you’re a player or coach is far worse than taking performance-enhancing drugs. Steroids never had a chance of destroying the entire sport. Gambling did.
(Please don’t hit me with “but he was betting on his own team to win!” Anyone stating that as a defense of anyone is not only too stupid to be operating a computer, they’re too stupid to be alive.)
And Rose was taking performance-enhancing drugs, too, for that matter.
Braun practically beat the Diamondbacks single handedly in the 201 NLCS As it was the Brewers won it 3 games to 2. That cost the Dbacks a return trip to the World Series.
Poppycock. This case didn't mysteriously develop overnight. A year ago, wussy Braun needlessly discredited Dino Laurenzi in his cover up scheme. A real man would have 'fessed up in the beginning, rather than blame the specimen collector.
Did somebody from the testing lab take home Braun’s pee and put it in his refrigerator like the last time Braun was investigated?
Here’s my thing: They are pro athletes and if they want to take this suff to enhance their performance, then that’s their choice. Many of us enhance our skills and knowledge to rise above our workers. Plus, a lot of this stuff they’re taking can be bought off of a GNC shelf by you or I. Rant off!
Would you want to know that your doctor cheated on his medical exams? How about if he was shooting up to stay awake during your surgery? A surgeon is a professional. What difference does it make if he cheats on his schooling or wants to take stuff to make him work longer hours?
It will be interesting to see if the Brewers might just void Braun’s contract, even if that will result in a big fight with the MLBPA....
Pro athletes are not doctors. Your examples are apples and oranges. If a future doc does better on his exams because he did something to enhance his performance (improved study methods or even taking something to stay awake and therefore study more) that is not cheating. I wouldn’t recommend the latter but that’s his choice not mine. The future doc getting the answers from somebody is cheating. A doc taking something to stay awake during surgery is not enhancing his skill, it is putting somebodies life in danger. Pro athletes are not endangering anybody. If Braun did take something he is cheating. I’m certainly conceding that. What I’m saying is that these silly rules need to be abolished. Players take things to make them better at what they are already very gifted. I have a particular gift that I choose to enhance through additional education. I have risen above coworkers as a result. They have the same opportunities as me but chose otherwise. Braun allegedly chooses pills or injections. Did Babe Ruth or Lou Gehrig do it this way? No because they did not have the enhancement technology. The buggy whip manufacturer meme comes to mind here. Don’t insult docs by comparing them to athletes.
So, where does that drug technician/courier that Braun trashed go to get his reputation back, and how does Matt Kemp claim the MVP award that Braun cheated him out of? Braun owes more than those 65 games.
Would you encourage or tolerate your son taking steroids to advance his sports career?
Cop-out. Braun and the Brewers’ seasons were already over. Now, he’s just not going to get paid for it and both get to start over again in 2014. Selig pimps for his favorite team yet again.
