What was your purpose in directing me to that link?
What most people are missing, because they are stupid, is that this is all part of the current Spy Games.
MiGs, you see, aren’t a banned munition or armament. Heck, civilians can purchase them on the open market without so much as a permit.
In fact, everything on that old rust bucket NK ship...packed in sugar (the irony of which our CIA will never grasp because our CIA is stupid)...is legal.
Now, the fact that everything on the NK ship is legal won’t, at first, mean anything to most Americans.
...but here’s the deal:
#1: the Russian FSB pranked our CIA two weeks ago by leaking that Snowden was on the Bolivian President’s airplane. Except, he wasn’t. And after publicly stating that he wouldn’t down aircraft to get Snowden, 0bama tried doing exactly that. The Bolivian President’s jet was re-routed and ordered to land in Europe where it was inspected against the diplomatic protests of Bolivia’s President! Embarrassing.
To this day our stupid CIA still doesn’t get the joke.
#2: the Russian FSB leaked that this NK rustbucket ship was carrying long-range missiles for North Korea. Except, it wasn’t. Instead of banned missile tech, it was packed with half-century old junk.
To this day our stupid CIA still doesn’t get this joke, either. Embarrassing.
#3: in two more weeks, the Russian FSB will prank our CIA again...and our stupid CIA will fall for it. Again.
This will continue until *finally* someone in the CIA or NSA realizes that some of their data-mining (e.g. PRISM, PRIIMUS, others) is being spoofed for sport.
Until then it will be diplomatic faux pas after FUBAR after faux pas after FUBAR internationally for the U.S.
...because our CIA is stupid.
Embarrassing.
