A story from the good old days.

In one Indiana town in the 1940s, packs of stray dogs were such a menace that a man was elected mayor on the single platform that he would personally shoot them. And, being an honest sort, he actually carried out his platform, wiping out several packs of strays. He was reelected.

In South America, there has long been itinerant dog killers, who travel from town to town killing stray dogs. They use old meat, soaked in poison in a 55 gallon drum, and post warnings that on a particular night, all pet dogs should be kept inside. After setting out the meat, before morning any extra meat is collected, the dead dogs are carted off, and the dog killer leaves town.

I’m sure a couple of dogs could kill a person in a much shorter timeframe.

Yes I've noticed that it's almost always pit bulls and rottweilers who have bad owners, collies, german shepards, poodles, etc. apparently mostly have good owners. Amazing coincidence.

I had a neighbor who bred dogs like this. He moved away.

Maybe his dogs ate him?

A Douglas County family was dealing with the violent deaths of their two cats Saturday after two dogs broke into their home, killed their two pets and tried to attack the wife.

Were the dogs 'Amish'?

I agree. I feel so sorry for the people whose cats were killed. My dogs are my “babies” now that my kids are grown, and I know how awful it would be to see them hurt.

"Amish"

I strongly suspect so, or at least the owners might be, since the media avoided all mention of the owners' names and showed no pictures of them. I suspect that if they were white rednecks their names pictures and previous offenses would be endlessly trotted out on the news.

There are plenty of white trash round here that raise pits to show everyone how big their dicks are. Just had to deal with some recently.
