Reykjavik mayor proposes cutting ties with Moscow over gay law

The mayor of Reykjavik has called for the Icelandic capital to cut its ties with Moscow over Russia's nationwide ban on homosexual propaganda.

Last month, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, signed a law that stigmatises gay people and bans giving children any information about homosexuality.

In response, Jón Gnarr, who was one of Iceland's top comedian's before becoming mayor of the city in 2010, filed a motion in a city council meeting last week to end his city's relationship with Moscow.

Since 2007 Reykjavik and Moscow have been "sister cities".

The global love affair with homosexuality is tearing the world apart. This current crop of “world leaders” are all retarded.

“Reykjavik mayor proposes cutting ties with Moscow over gay law”

Russia, I’m sure, will survive without the nation with population of the suburbs of St. Petersburg being their BFF.

Go for it, Reykjavik. Your little temper tantrum will be as successful as Graz, Austria was when it severed ties with its “native son” Arnold Schwarzenegger because he executed some gang banger. I doubt the Russians will miss Reykjavik very much.

They gays and ‘fellow travelers’ are reaching critical mass at the top and want to make it so their perversion is acceptable to make the power grab complete

They promote each other from within

Eventually they will control everything

homosexual men have a life expectancy around 42

this would explain why govt with socialized healthcare are embracing it. anything to get liabilities people off the books

meanwhile, russia is going pro business, pro Christianity, pro low taxes, anti-homo propaganda

where’s the downside?

if staying in 0bama’s butt pounding Amerikkka means i have to work 60%+ of the time for them while being told what to eat, who to sleep with, and what religion to believe... yea, you can keep it

It looks to me that Jón Gnarr continues to be a comedian in his role as mayor. He thinks that a transient popular culture trumps nature and natural law. Ha. Ha. What a joker!

Both Russia and I agree that men and women are NOT interchangeable. Only the low information voter believes that men and women are interchangeable. But right now they dominate because they like to get free stuff.

I just don’t know. Have you SEEN Icelandic women? How you can be gay in Iceland just boggles the imagination.

I believe Iceland was also the first nation to legalize abortion back in the 1930s. A beautiful nation geographically but they’ve drunk the left-wing kool-aid for decades.

I think the population of Iceland is even smaller than the combined population of all the suburbs of Sankt Petersburg. Maybe the size (260,000) of ONE suburb :)
