The Tuesday Senate deal cut by Republicans and Democrats on Tuesday to avoid the nuclear option just keeps getting better and better for union bosses.
You may recall that on Tuesday, the only victory that Republicans could lay claim to (in exchange for their giving Harry Reid nearly everything Democrats wanted) was that two of Barack Obamas constitutionally-challenged recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board would be let go.
Well, as it turns out, while Operating Engineers chief counsel Richard Griffin is being tossed from his seat on the NLRB as a member, he is now being offered the position of the NLRBs General Counsel.

They're both liars and charlatans.
Is the GOP so stupid as to think this is the last time the Rats will threaten to use the “nuclear option”? Are they REALLY that stupid?
” Was there any doubt about McConnell and McCain’s intentions?
They’re both liars and charlatans. “
BUMP
um,YES!
No they're now stupid enough to lose their base.
Absolutely right!
I’m glad I chose to work in IT. If they ever tried to make me join a union, it would not end well at all.

“Is the GOP so stupid as to think this is the last time the Rats will threaten to use the nuclear option? Are they REALLY that stupid?”
Yes, they are. I’m really starting to wonder if I should continue to vote for stupid leaders. It’s a tough call between evil and stupid.
I'm not Charlie Brown, and they probably shouldn't have their face that close to my foot.
No, they are NOT that stupid. The care not for the actual desires of their constituency, and actually desire the same, or nearly so, goals as the demonrats. They just have to ply a good line of bullshit to keep the citizens associated with the party voting for them.
The actual question shouldn’t be “are they really that stupid” with respect to the politicians, it should be directed towards the citizenry, ‘cause they keep putting the pieces of crap back in office.
Those two don’t give a damn anyway. It’s all for show.
Someone said it in another thread a few weeks ago.
"Two wings, same bird"
They're NOT stupid. It's a ONE party system feigning to ne TWO operating under the guise of Kabuki theater.
Sorry, but currently we'd have to be mantled with the "stupid" label.
