And you think that will be successful? I don’t. The Spinate will never allow anything to be put on the agenda that will embarrass the occupant of the white hut.

You don’t have to agree with me but this is a regime, a conspiracy between the white hut, the spinate, the judicial, the unions, bureaucrats and many of the rhinos all against traditional United States values and the Constitution. It is a silent but very active coup. They have the power. It is like having elected Stalin to the white hut and he is using his interpretation of the law just the way he wants to and there is nobody to stop him.

I think it might be a tool. The power is in desuetude, but maybe it can be revived as a check and balance on the executive power. I mean, right now, the executive is ignoring Congress.Even if the Republicans take the senate back, this will continue to be the case. It is logical consequence of the investigative power of a select committee, going beyond the mere raising of the issue and regain some control over what has be3come an irresponsible executive. The bad thing is that it will require a lot of DW-40 to make the tool work again and a chairman willing and able about to do more than jaw-jaw.

Romney was right, only 47% really care about fighting the 53% who have figured out they can vote themselves a raise from the treasury of the other 47%.

I keep looking for some kind of encouragement that things might be better in my remaining lifetime. I think, or want to think, I see some of the kids beginning to figure out they have a very very bleak future on the path the one they foolishly voted for is taking them on.

I hope he continues to push the race card. I don’t see how 85% of the population can willingly support all the wants, wishes and whims of the other less than 15% who have been given everything imaginable and still can’t pull themselves out of their own slop. It is a mystery to me why we, supposedly smart people, have allowed such a small faction of the population to keep all of us so torn up all the time.

Desuetude, I had to look that one up. Not much need for that word in my discussions. If you mean that congress is not using the power it has you are correct. They are afraid to cut off the money. They are afraid of what others may say and think. They are afraid of the race card and the propaganda machine. They have lost their nerve and don’t understand or think that we have reached the point where what anyone thinks or says or does in response to them doing the right thing won’t matter because they will lose anyway.

A DW-40 is an old Cat scraper tractor. That may be just what is needed to run over the bastards and have reason to replace them and scare the life out of the survivors.

In the final assessment though I think it is too late. We have probably lost.

We are slowing turning the corner as more and more people begin to see that the race card is a joker in the deck. Is there a single black politician who has not abused his office and left his constituents worse off than he found them? The same might have been said, of course, of the Irish politicians of the 19th and 20th Centuries, whose experience with the English left them totally cynical about the rule of law.

Wake me up when they offer a bill to repeal the 16th, shrink to their Constitutional size (A1S8) and we’ll go from there.

I’ll even open one eye if they frog march ANYONE to the clink. You know, the place where We would already be if we lied under oath, took the 5th after making a statement, etc.
