Too bad the EMTs weren’t Moslem terrorists; they would have been ushered right through.
someone blames sequestration in 3 . . 2 . . 1 . .
“Lawyers up!”
PANYNJ....big money...big lawsuit.
I wonder if they have portable defibrillators in the airport? They have them here at various spaces inside the airport, on the walls.
I’m surprised that the airport doesn’t have its own team of first responders. I guess I’m just naive.
They do have their own first responders. They just apparently didn’t bother to give them access.
The airport would probably hire all Muslims as their first responders, and they would probably spend all day washing their feet in their special, luxurious Muslims-Only bathrooms.
America has been successfully terrorized !!
We are so afraid of everything, nothing works smoothly without some sort of "security" action.
I USED to have my CC swiped with a paper thingy and I signed and walked away.
Now;
I swipe, punch in if it is debit/credit/ebt/LMNOP etc.,Please enter PIN, Is This Amount Correrct (how the f**** do I know?), do you want cash back, Sorry .. bad card read, please see cashier
I imagine myself on my back and the kind, soft voices hovering over me tell me to relax, the EMT's are just outside the door ... and maybe I'm lulled into a calm of sleepiness .... Hello Jesus
“Snafu” is the right description for something like this at Kennedy Airport. The place is a nightmare and things are always going wrong.
Did the TSA make the EMT’s remove their shoes ?
This is a new terminal. Possibly they didn’t give the first responders the right cards, possibly they gave them the cards and their supervisors didn’t distribute the cards or inform them that it was necessary to use a different card, or possibly the equipment simply malfunctioned. I think we’ll have to see what comes out later.
So, OK, the doors’ malfunctioning killed him, or the heart attack?
NYP writers maligning the airport? Just because they can?
Just saying, there’s never a guarantee EMS nor the medical system can cure.
That kind of thinking is what generates lawsuits.
THis is going to cost a LOT of money.
I bet that the damage award is in the $20 million range.
Those of us in the real world are usually MANDATED to test any/all possibilities.
Hell, being a programmer I’m required to get those BEFORE starting a project, have to have unit and manual tests as well as sign-off testing by the customer.
Reminds me of the Jax ‘new’ courthouse. 10x over budget and the damn fire suppression system seems to fail every time it’s tested; even though it’s in use currently.
