On Monday's All In with Chris Hayes, MSNBC political analyst Michael Eric Dyson declared that George Zimmerman has become "a kind of patron saint of the right wing in a very serious way" as he complained that he has "been made an icon" and will receive external support in his freedom.
Host Hayes fretted that Zimmerman would not sufficiently have to face his conscience as he quoted a tweet. Hayes:
You know, someone said this thing on Twitter, I think it was a guy named Jim Henley who I really like and follow. And he said, you know, I hope, I have one thought that, I hope George Zimmerman goes home tonight and thinks about what he did and what happened, but there's this world awaiting him that wants to embrace him as a hero. There's an entire universe to whom he has become-
Dyson jumped in:
He's been made an icon. I went into my hotel and that evening ran into George Zimmerman's best friend. We had a vigorous, non-hostile conversation for 20 minutes, and I said to him, "Sir, your friend just murdered an unarmed young man."
The liberal MSNNBC political analyst added:
He said, "But there was no probable cause for him to be arrested." I said, "We're not only speaking different languages; we're living in different universes." There is a world awaiting George Zimmerman that will support him economically, that will make him an icon. And he has become a kind of patron saint of the right wing in a very serious way.
they forgot that GZ is an Obama voter
I think the word is “was” an Obama voter. Do you think that Mr. Zimmerman and his family & friends have any love left for this administration, their party or anything related to them?

Leftists are really over-reaching now just like the Zimmerman trial and just wait they won’t succeed. When I was a kid, I grew up learning about the hippies. I would hear how the youth generation in the 60s transformed America. But upon closer inspection they were not so effective. Urban rioting in 1968, Nixon gets elected to the White House. Perhaps a similar scenario is developing right now and it’s quite possible the GOP could win over the Hispanic vote.

My school invited Mr. Dyson as a guest speaker. What he said is par for the course from my experience.
