The government did an amnesty in 1986 and promised to fix the border security. They failed to follow up on that commitment. Only a fool would allow the wankers another bite at the apple. Just shred the damn immigration bill(s). There is no intent to ever follow up on security.

See related thread which makes the argument that the House bill, if any, should not legalize anybody, not even a legailization-without-citizenship. If the House does not pass any immigration bill at all that is even better IMO. However, the GOP seems determined to pass something.
