I don’t understand concealed carry. Why not pack it in view so none will mess with you. Well very few anyway.

Look at it from a criminal's perspective. With CCW's around, the criminal never knows who might or who might not be packing, so in theory the incentive is always there to NOT engage in criminal actions against someone.

If firearms are required to be displayed at all times, and a criminal sees no one has a firearm, the incentive is there to commit a criminal act upon such persons.
