Look at it from a criminal's perspective. With CCW's around, the criminal never knows who might or who might not be packing, so in theory the incentive is always there to NOT engage in criminal actions against someone.

If firearms are required to be displayed at all times, and a criminal sees no one has a firearm, the incentive is there to commit a criminal act upon such persons.

I realize that but I’m just saying that deterrence sometimes lauds off attacks. I’d rather display a weapon and be bypassed but your point is good.

I know but I know a person who owns a business in a high crime area who has never been robbed because all his employees weapons are plainly visible. I understand your point though.
