CAIRO (Reuters) - Egypt announced a criminal investigation on Saturday against deposed Islamist President Mohamed Mursi, with prosecutors saying they were examining complaints of spying, inciting violence and ruining the economy.

Egypt's first freely elected leader has been held at an undisclosed location since the army removed him from power on July 3, but has not yet been charged with any crime. In recent days, Washington has called for him to be freed and for the authorities to stop arresting leaders of his Muslim Brotherhood.

The public prosecutor's office said in a statement it had received complaints against Mursi, eight other named Islamist figures including the Brotherhood's leader, Mohamed Badie, and others it did not identify.

Hopefully, they'll get it done tomorrow, and hang him Monday afternoon.

This is EXACTLY what Obama does NOT want.

Looks like the Egyptian military is giving O the finger.

Actually, most of the world’s leaders are giving O the finger and relishing it. Obama is a zero and we all know it.
Just let him try to enforce his will, it won’t work and that is too bad for the entire USA.

Everyon notice that after the MB went nuts last week near the Republican Guard HQ and they blew away ~50 supporters that since then there are “peacefull” protests. I admit, this is cruel BUT, it works at settling Muslims nerves...for a while. The Israelis would not have had 2 Intifadas had they opened up on the Palis in the same manner as Arab states open up on their brothers. Boom, boom and it’s over.

If they’ve found evidence of forwarded NSA tracking data of military and/or opposition leaders, Morsi is toast.

No, it's not cruel.

It raises the standard of living and the quality of life for everyone else on the planet.

NOT killing them, tolerating them, is like not using DDT on mosquitoes, that's cruelty to everyone else.
