What’s to say women’s emotions didn’t play into the jury’s verdict? I think women’s emotions played into it big time and the defense set it up perfectly for an all female jury. Z was an extremely sympathetic figure in this case and there were plenty of reasons to feel emotions for him. The prosecution gifted them along the way.

GZ always trying to improve himself
GZ had a weight problem
GZ didn’t have appropriate trial clothes
GZ was a failure in He-man activties
GZ had female friends

The cool guy bully prosecution team, came at GZ like the playground bad boys and I know there won’t be agreement but the FATAL blow after many was the “Mr. Stapuff and Mr. Softie”, pointing episode. I did not think it would be a case of emotionalism, since it was not a black jury. If it had been black women, I would have assumed that black racism would have been the primary factor.

But thankfully, it was more a trial by peer of Zimmerman and not Martin.
