There is a NORMALCY BIAS , whereby evebody WANTS to beleive that everything will work out all right .
Reality has told us differently,..s we have never had a muslim ,facist / socialist for pRESIDENT !, whose
intent seems to lower the U.S. standards , to resemble a third world "Bananna Republic" by sabatoge of our economy !

We have never had a U.S. Attny. General who selectively enforces Federal laws, chosing which laws to enforce, depending on what the Federal AGENDA is !

Absolutely right. I notice this with apolitical people, and even some Leftists and conservatives.

And people infected with the normalcy bias think those of us who aren’t similarly infected are insane weirdos.

Is anyone else wondering what “the worst nightmare” referred to here could be?

Maybe it means liberal elites would be embarrassed if caught ... Maybe it means we're spying on the Brits, French and Japanese while giving favorable agreements to Arabs. Or maybe it means all the 'green' companies like GE etc have been paying kickbacks for years... There was a time I would have cared more...

"Snowden has enough information to cause harm to the U.S. government in a single minute than any other person has ever had," Greenwald said in an interview...

Notice the phrasing does not "cause harm to "Americans" or "security of America." No, this is more personal.

Greenwald seems to give credence that the damning part exposes a .guv that is misbehaving on a monumental, unimaginative scale. Greenwald could at least have the decency of letting the world know how many times "FEMA CAMP," NEW WORLD ORDER," and "MASS EXECUTION" are mentioned in this volume of indicting info.

St_Thomas_Aquinas ~:" "Nothing ever changes. Politicians... you know."

The country needs "STATESMEN " , rather than "POLITICIANS" !
A STATESMAN puts aside his own needs for the good of the country !
A "Politician" puts his own needs , or the good of the party before the country's needs.
The "FOUNDING FATHERS " were STATESMEN"
Right now , the country is up to our ears in "POLITICIANS" !!

Maybe we will find out the truth behind some of the mass shootings. I just think there is something sinister involved and pray if so that the truth comes out.

Hard to believe Snowden could’ve done more damage to this country than 0, Clinton, and both Bushes.

I believe you've misunderstood Greenwald's gist. He warns that Snowden possesses "information to cause harm to the U.S. government."

No chance (imho). Most have no idea and if the information was released, what would anyone do? Best guess is go back to sleep from this side of the keyboard.

How much will our corrupt government pay to have Snowden taken out?

Worst nightmare would be explicit exposure of collusion between the DNC, the Obama administration, and unelected offices like the IRS and Homeland Security to manipulate the 2012 election.

Yeah, we'd all be crying a river if the truth got out... Oh, you left off the FBI - I think they were in on the crime of targeting American citizens BECAUSE they were political opponents of Obama...

Snowden revelations stir anti-US feeling...
Governments worldwide viewing America as arrogant superpower...

from Drudge

I cannot imagine that this is a shock to anyone in the US. Snowden just made explicit what has been implicit for years.

BS... Market value just goes down, Snowden is an amateur

Normally I would agree, but watching Obama's response (even going as far as diverting another president's plane in Europe) I think there may be something to this.

Obama didn't appear to give one hoot about WikiLeaks or other "breaches", but for some reason this particular one has him pretty worried.

I believe that we haven’t had a real election in this country in decades, and I believe that both parties are in on that little secret.

Not a bad crack at it. But is that really our “the worst nightmare”?

Take your typical 'Twilight Zone' episode centered around cannibals, fascists, and a book called, 'To Serve Man,' and you've got our "worst nightmare" as exposed by Snowden...

Basically what's happening now without admission or open knowledge. BUT, ironically, executed openly.

I’ve been living in a nightmare since ‘08. Not much sympathy here for those causing it.

Actually you'll have to roll back to video to the year 2001.
