Impeachment of BHO for starters.
You are probably still thinking about this crisis as "red vs. blue" or "D vs. R".
The problem is that the national government (which is both "blue" AND "red", "D" AND "R") has escaped the straitjacket of the Constitution and is now trampling the States and the retained rights of the People.
Republicans in the national legislature are no more interested than Democrats in returning their role to the relatively minor one that existed before the 1950s.
The States have the authority to amend the Constitution so as to restore the balance of power WITHOUT the consent or even the participation of the national government (which is why Article V is written the way it is).
That is the only possible peaceful way out of this crisis, unless you can think of another one.
What? No, the Republicans were completely locked out of the process. obamneycare was literally written behind closed doors and "deemed" law with no yeas from any Republican.
But on amnesty, absolutely we are being stabbed in the back.
Obama is ignoring the Constitution and the rule of law whenever it is to his political advantage. These are the hallmarks of a despot yet we hear not so much as a whimper from the RINO leadership of the GOP.
how about conservative obfuscation
A muddying of the waters to make a point not germane to the issue in discussion
The Media’s “Republicans Have No Obamacare Replacement” Myth

here are twenty-seven pages of health care bills Republicans introduced in this Congress:

These are some of the best ones:

Many good, debate-worthy bills have been introduced, and more bills are expected to be introduced. Each of these bills would move us toward a more patient-centered system by expanding individual freedom:
Rep. Paul Broun’s Patient OPTION Act (H.R. 4224)
Rep. Todd Rokita’s State Health Flexibility Act (H.R. 4160)
Sen. Rand Paul’s Congressional Health Care for Seniors Act (S. 2196)
Sen. Jim DeMint’s Retirement Freedom Act (S. 1317)
Rep. Bill Huizenga’s Health Freedom for Seniors Act (H.R. 3819)
So you are believing the CEO’s of these large and typically publicly held Co.’s should not have their bottom line financial results as their primary consideration, but should rather align their policies with political ideology? Or is this a class warfare idea? This does not appear to fit your usual ideas here I think.
I don’t think the GOP has a lock on special interests. And I would not term it as “benefit immediately” when they are merely hoping for more time to avoid increased fines. And who will pay for these increased fines in the end anyway, they’re just a business cost to be passed on after all.
Get rid of the worthless Pubs, and then others will turn their wrath on the other wing of the party, the Dems, when they are left holding the bag. F them both, hard, because corruption of the rule of law has been occurring since long before Obama and the majority of Americans who ignored or promoted this culmination deserve their miseries.
Equal before the law? A quaint and now laughable ideal. There should be a sitcom about it.
Publicly-held companies should (indeed, must) hold their shareholders' interests paramount. No argument here. I'm talking about how our political representatives should be behaving in the political and constitutional arena. They must hold their oath of office paramount. If that means acting in contradiction sometimes to the immediate wishes and desires of their constituents, so be it. Such is the nature of political courage, no?
Get rid of the worthless Pubs, and then others will turn their wrath on the other wing of the party, the Dems, when they are left holding the bag.
Well, the opportunity to "get rid of" the "worthless" among our elected representatives arises every two years. The trend I perceive isn't encouraging.

Just damn, I hate to rain on your parade, but here goes;
1. In order for a bill to get out of committee at least 2 in the minority must vote for it.
2. The US Constitution says all spending bills MUST come from the house, the Obamacare bill came from the US Senate.
3. Not to long ago it was in the news that the NRA was able to get something in the bill to protect 2nd amendment rights. Sounds to me like a republican had his hands in the pie.
4. My favorite is this one, the rules in the House and the Senate require no objections to have a bill submitted as if it were read in to the record word for word. Just one person objecting means they have to read the bill. The republican members of both houses were ORDERED to NOT object. This was the biggest tell of all.
5. Now add the after the fact history that the republican leaders in the house refuse to defund any part of Obamacare.
Obama said he was not a dictator.........
I expect is from the Left, but can you give an an example of ‘Republican acts constitutionally’???
Beware of SCARY BARRY!
Americans can no longer trust their government to be fair and impartial about anything.
