In a bunker huddling with Karl Rove trying to figure out some way to sneak by an amnesty bill without reaping the whirlwind.

What Happened to Congress’ ‘Fast and Furious’ Fury?

They didn't mean it, of course.

Look, most Americans who are interested in politics have a "Blue-Red" model or a "D vs. R" model for thinking about things.

That's not a valid model.

The correct model is "People and States vs. National government".

There are probably some things about Obama the Congressional GOP doesn't like. Well, maybe. But there's one big thing they DO like, and that is their belief that he can finally put an end to the pretentions of the human cattle back in the districts that they have any right of self-rule.

This idea - the the People rule themselves and that we have retained rights, and that the Congress, Federal Courts, and Executive Branch are LIMITED IN POWER - this is anathema to evey single Member of Congress, Supreme Court Justice, and to all Presidents.

It's taken 100 years for them to be completely detached from the limits we placed on them in 1788, Barack Obama and his crowd are the agents of that final, fundamental transformation, and, by God, they are not looking back because the armies of socialism only march in one direction.

Why doesn't the Congressional GOP "do something"? Because they are the farmers and we are the cows, and they like that just fine. The disputes are over details.

But the lawsuit seeking access to the documents is alive and well before U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee who nonetheless has expressed skepticism over the administration’s motion to dismiss the action based on the claim of executive privilege and the assertion that the courts should stay out of a dispute between the executive and legislative branches.

Attorney Kerry Kircher, representing the House of Representatives, told the court during an April 24 hearing that presidents would essentially have carte blanche to withhold documents from Congress and frustrate legislative oversight of federal agencies if the judiciary failed to intervene. Attorney Ian Gershengorn, representing the Justice Department, argued that the courts would appear to be “a tool of the political process” if it got involved.

...

Jackson has yet to issue a ruling and the case remains open.

Why is that taking so long? It has been about a year and a half before her court.

Obama threatened them.

He warned congress if they keep trying to embarrass him with accusations of scandals he won’t approve their upcoming amnesty bill.

F&F? That was a long time ago. Just as AP, IRS, NSA, and Benghazi are. Keep up with the times. Today’s issue is how implement Obama’s Amnesty Agenda. That’s where it’s at. You need to get on board with the R team for the big win and stop chirping about these distractions. /sarc infinity

When I think about the GOP run House of Representatives, closely following "stupid", the word that comes to mind is "cowardice".

And Reince Priebus wonders why fewer people are willing to call themselves Republicans. Doh!
