I find fault with Boehner often...but I can’t fault him here.
I'm old enough to remember that people with limited economic resources found a way to survive without food stamps. When the food stamps came along, prices almost immediately went up on the basic foods income-challenged people ate.
this was pointless
making food stamps a separate bill doesnt help anything
his bill also makes ag subsidies permanent
not a victory for us
