IS he just a RINO now just trying to keep his seat?
He can’t keep his current seat as he is term limited, which means he would have to vie for a different seat. However, though the blue dogs are a very stubborn bunch, and stubbornly Democrat, the remaining ones who had stayed with the party all these years have just gotten their craw filled with the radical leftism.
Things must be pretty bad in the Progressive party for him join the Republican party.
I guess there really is no room in the Democrat party for white men.
I know him personally. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate him between 5 and 6. Much more of a pragmatic politician than a movement conservative.
He will be running for an open state senate seat in 2015. So far, no other credible candidates have expressed an interest in that seat, at least that I have hear of.
They can compete against Republicans in the primary.
