We all know the reality of how Hispanics would vote but nonetheless, this issue has been used supposedly to scare some Republicans and that is why some would be supporting the immigration bill because 14 Republican Senators did, I believe all of the Republican Senators from Utah, a state near the border or Arizona which is on the border.

http://washingtonexaminer.com/walker-i-have-not-endorsed-the-senate-immigration-bill/article/2532724

Gov. Walker has had to deal with this immigration bill in interviews only. I would assert he did not have a good understanding of the situation being from Wisconsin. This is another problem. The above link does indeed show a bit of backtracking on the issue if one hunts down the original interviews.

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2013/07/03/wisconsins-scott-walker-backs-senate-immigration-bill/

So, I’m not going to give up on him totally if he said one thing earlier and now may have a bit of a different view. He’s not voting on it himself and may have been swayed by Rep. Ryan.

Rick already knows where a lot of the seed money is coming from. It is entirely possible that his phone line is jammed with volunteer fundraisers trying to get a piece of the action.
This is going to be a lot of fun.

Santorum took the Southern States. Santorum was no media golden boy. Romney couldn’t win any Red States, just States where he was established better like Michigan and other blue states.

Either Paul or Perry would get my vote. The problem is that to beat the GOPe leftist we need to only run one conservative. We can’t have half a dozen conservatives on the ballot in Iowa. The vetting needs to be done now.

You obviously don’t know Rick Perry or you would not make a statement like that. If he decides not to run it won’t be because he can’t raise the money. I think it’s a cinch he will run only this time it will be a well organized campaign instead of the thrown together attempt in 2012. Rick Perry is a very good politician and there are plenty of people in Texas who will support him!!!

It is customary for the current governor of Texas to speak to La Raza and other groups. Don’t post that as an argument against Gov. Perry.

Ever notice that Democratic politicians don’t get scared by anything? I want nothing to do with any Republican or so-called conservative who is such a quisling that he allows his principles to be compromised.

Regarding Walker, I was sure I’d read something about his clarification....here it is:

No politician who pushes amnesty will get my support. If the Republicans cave, I hope folks will agree with Mark Levin and Sarah Palin that it’s time for another party.

If I don’t get back to any posts tonight, I will tomorrow.

"43% of all jobs created in the US since 2009 were created in Tx."

And most of them were in oil. And the price of oil did that without any help from Perry.

That the economy is so one sided is also an indictment of the economic policies we've been pursuing. The fact is according to Shadowstats.com unemployment has been increasing not decreasing and is nearing 25%. Kelly temporary services is now the second largest employer in the U.S. behind Walmart.

You’re absolutely correct.

Paul did threaten a filibuster if the border was not secured so that is a little bit more and somehow I guess that scenario was avoided.

Still, a no vote is a no vote and I have not seen Paul mentioned in any of those “Conservative Immigration Bill Ads” in these recent days, maybe he told them they can’t use his name.

I still contend some of these politicians don’t have a good handle on this; my gosh, no way Orrin Hatch should vote for this? Why? Hispanics in Utah or what?? And I heard I think on Rush’s show or somewhere that 60-70% of Hispanics are against amnesty as well, this is just today.

Conservative candidates had better start professing Conservative based solutions to our problems and bash the other party 100% of the time. I for one am sick and tired of the karl rove, reince preibus styled attacks that Newt and Santorum endured from the gop/e and romney... the progressive baby killer. If a mistake by a candidate is a bad thing... we will decide for ourselves Rand. We want a warrior to take on the left... we want a Reagan Republican to defeat our enemies both domestic and foreign... not pick nits while Rome burns... savvy Rand?

Perry has flaws but the overriding thing in his favor is his understanding of the 10th and state’s rights. Nobody is stronger on that issue and it looms larger every day.

Might be the biggest issue in 2016 at the rate things are going. I like Rick Perry. Don't think he's the strongest candidate, but I like him and the fact is he'd be a damn' sight better than anything the Democrats have to offer in 2016.

I saw him state on tv that “We can’t send ll million people back.”

Why do these liars use the 11-12 million figure when the California census shows Latinos/hispanics to be 38.2% of a 38,041,430 population?

http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/06/06037.html

Vincente Fox admitted to 18 million back in 2000.

Yeah, Rand stuck his foot in it. He should have known better, he has made some consolations in the meantime, he simply screwed up, do people forgive? Does he need to do more? I certainly would vote for a number of others before him, like I said, I think he’s pretty green. He is good on being pro-life and I don’t think he’s pro-same sex marriage. Perhaps he’s states rights on the subject?? I know I haven’t heard his opinions on these things, I know he did make a dig at Obama over gay marriages.
