A 13-year-old boy who police say was doused with gasoline and lit on fire last week while walking home from school is recovering from first-degree burns to his face and head. The boy was just two blocks from his home in Kansas City Tuesday when two teenagers began to follow him and then attacked him, his mother, Melissa Coon, said. Police have described the suspects as black 16-year-olds, while the victim is white. "We were told it's a hate crime," Coon told KTLA. "They rushed him on the porch as he tried to get the door open," Coon told KMBC. "(One of them) poured the gasoline, then flicked the Bic, and said, 'This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve, white boy.'" By lighting the gasoline, the second attacker "produced a large fireball burning the face and hair" of the boy, according to a Kansas City Police Department report obtained by KCTV. Slow news day.
I’d consider these acts, terrorism. They are committed to invoke fear and trepidation. We may not have riots after the Zimmerman verdict but multiple hate crimes.
The 13 y.o. deserved it. Walking while white.

I remember this story from last year and hadn’t read any follow up on it. Is there somewhere black on white crimes not reported in the media are saved here? At the same time there was an elderly couple whose house was broken into and the black kid raped the elderly lady - never saw any follow up on it. This article brought it all to mind. A freeper, about a month ago was looking for some statics on black and white crime in the US.
I someone did that to my son at that age, I would find them and surely kill them myself and I mean that.
Were the attackers arrested? Was there a trial? Was there fear of white rioting if the verdict was not guilty? Of course the big difference is these thugs committed assault, unlike GZ, so not guilty would be an injustice. But even such an injustice would not provoke rioting.
I think I posted this when it happened originally. Terrible example of the real racial violence epidemic running through this country.
There was a pregnant woman set on fire in Detroit yesterday I think it was. Baby daddy didn’t want a baby.
Why wouldn’t blacks feel they are entitled, obama told them they were and Holder said they could do what they want without fear of prosecution.
Even young kids are acting this way.
