For years, advocates of the gay rights movement have said that their goal is to make the world a more tolerant place for homosexuals. They have just as adamantly claimed that they had no intention of educating young children in the complexities of human sexuality. Not so in Hollywood.
Take, for example, the new animated film Boxtrolls, created by studio Laika. The film is a riff on the old Mrs. Doubtfire morality that suggests that all families are created equal, no matter what their composition. “Families come in all shapes and sizes,” the narrator of the preview says. “Even rectangles.”
This is not the studio’s first foray into same-sex material for children – in ParaNorman, one of the characters was a gay jock who comes out near the end of the film for no apparent reason.
Travis Knight, the 39-year-old president and CEO of Laika, says that this isn’t activism. “We’re not in any way trying to be activists,” he says. “We’re just trying to be who we are. All art and all artists have a point of view, a way of looking at the world. We want to make films that are bold and distinctive and enduring and actually have something meaningful to say.”
That is nonsense. Activism is pushing a point of view in your work. That’s what Knight says he’s doing. He should embrace his mission, so we can all have an honest conversation about material that is appropriate for children and material that is not.
The truth is that Hollywood is fighting a battle not only to normalize homosexuality, but to combat what it perceives as the power of heternormativity in society – the idea that the default relationship is heterosexual. Heteronormativity, according to many of the left, leads to discrimination against homosexuals.

Well, God forbid, that we be “hetero-normative”. Oh my God, can you imagine a world in which people just assume you are hetero-normative? People will ask men if they have a girlfriend, ask women if they have a boyfriend? Ask people of both sexes if they are married, and just assume that if they are married, that the spouse is someone of the opposite sex???? Oh my Gosh, the implications are soooo scary, that we could live in a hetero-normative world.
Imagine in schools. Teachers will ask children what their daddy does for a living, or what their mommy does. Such assumptions that children have a male father and a female mother......
You see where I’m going with this. The implications are staggering, so we need Hollywood idiots to lecture us on our hetero-normative thought patterns.
Heck, sign me up for re-education camp right now. I see I need to go there. I need Hollywood idiots to set my thinking straight.
Can I use the word straight in a sentence as I just did? Or is that word only to be reserved for the “straight/gay” definition? The word gay has been completely co-opted by homosexuals, didn’t know if the word straight has also been so co-opted.
What used to be considered weird is pushed on us as being more normal than what used to be the real normal.
But underneath it all everyone knows that the homo-lesbo-bi stuff is not normal, even the ones engaging in it, or else they would not get so defensive when the real normal is thrust in their faces.

Whenever he uses the word "reform," you can be sure his intent is to deform. Whenever he uses the word "right," you can be sure he means to deprive you of your rights and force you to accept state privileges in their place—or nothing at all.
Leftists are liars. Never trust them.
Speaking of gays and Hollywood, there is a huge push already underway to boycott Orson Scott Card’s Enders Game. So predictable.

I wish there would be a v chip tag which had an “H” for homosexual content so such movies could be blocked by television v chips.

thanks I read this and then I have just read about the ACLU now looking to overturn NC marriage law which we all know is a prelude to overturning all states laws.
