It’s unbelievable to me the verdict is likely to come out while the NAACP convention is there.
It would be ironic if they had a riot while the NAACP was there. The low info voters are being fed a steady diet of riot feed.

Recall the judge’s strict timeline — no delay to depose Crump either before or during the trial, repeated (reversible) demands of the defense to limit their question and “move things along”, many defense requests for sidebars refused, her repeated announcements to the defense last Wednesday that the prosecution wanted to finish that day, etc.
She’s been told that this trial should end on a certain date, not before and not after, and she’s doing everything she can to make sure it does. The train’s gotta run on time.
