Recall the judge’s strict timeline — no delay to depose Crump either before or during the trial, repeated (reversible) demands of the defense to limit their question and “move things along”, many defense requests for sidebars refused, her repeated announcements to the defense last Wednesday that the prosecution wanted to finish that day, etc.
She’s been told that this trial should end on a certain date, not before and not after, and she’s doing everything she can to make sure it does. The train’s gotta run on time.
Remember that it was early June when 5th DCA reversed the Judge about Crump depo.
Not alot of time to depose Crump with all they had to depose and Crump probably playing cat and mouse.
Also, it became more especially important after Diamond Eugene’s testimony.
