A reminder that “Fruitvale Station”, a movie that happens to be about a white cop shooting an unarmed black teenager, happens to be opening this weekend in a few theaters here and there.

Ads I’ve seen on HLN during their coverage of the Zimmerman trial (how’s that for targeted advertising) say that what I guess is the general opening will be on July 26.
How’s that for timing.
Sounds like they deposed Shoemaker after court last evening - I think he is the creator of the animation
Well, a tornado may strike the courthouse today too, but it doesn't seem likely to me.
To rest today would be to gamble that the incompetence of the prosecution is plainly visible to all.
I say hammer it home.
We accept that Mark OMara is conflicted in this case, and he is trying to walk a fine line between presenting a defense to a case built on political pressure and outright fraud; Yet simultaneously avoiding exposition of both the politics and the fraud itself.
I dont agree with this
I think something has happened behind the scenes -such as a sidebar that has tied MOMs hands. He was carefully constructing his sentences when questioning Lee after a lengthy sidebar
*************************************************************
Absolutely, the judge has almost certainly restricted any movement to show that this is a carefully constructed fraud and railroading of Zimmerman for political (and other, such a potential public safety) reasons. This was clear in MOM’s questioning of the police (interviewers and former police chief)—he was avoiding this area almost certainly to avoid any sanctions from this corrupt judge.
Good one. If Old Media were honest, the questions they would be hypnotizing America with would be, “why would somebody call the police if he was planning to shoot a guy he was looking at?” and “why did TM go all the way to the house and back again?”, not “who is screaming” or “why didn’t he stay in his car like the dispatcher told him to”
bump
But, didn't the ruling take that into consideration? It's not still in Question, is it?
One of Bao-zao the Clown’s many content-free inanities was something like, “marijuana can have no effect, or some effect”, which, as they say, “opened the door”.
Bao-zao the Clown should have gone into politics, instead. Lots of words saying and signifying absolutely nothing.
Amyl nitrate is linked to violence, causes liver damage, and would give a user just enough energy rush to go full-MMA on some crazy-ass cracker for a minute or two.
MOM is addressing pros objections to content of the animation. Contention over angle of the bullet entry, distance from TM body, relative position of GZ and TM.
So why is amyl nitrate being brought up? I didn’t see evidence of that in the TM autopsy report.
90 degree angle - undisputed fact.
So is Purple Drank.
Might have been mentioned yesterday and I missed it (I was only catching bits and pieces yesterday due to work).
Animation hearing is on —
In
Ready.
It would explain the violent outburst from Martin. He sees Zimmerman, goes back to the condo to get a hit, then returns to use that energy burst to go MMA on an unsuspecting crazy-ass cracker. That’s my theory anyway. It also explains any liver damage that Martin would have.
Recall the judge’s strict timeline — no delay to depose Crump either before or during the trial, repeated (reversible) demands of the defense to limit their question and “move things along”, many defense requests for sidebars refused, her repeated announcements to the defense last Wednesday that the prosecution wanted to finish that day, etc.
She’s been told that this trial should end on a certain date, not before and not after, and she’s doing everything she can to make sure it does. The train’s gotta run on time.
