I've often speculated that as the WW2 generation dies off and the events become more distant, that Hitler would be given the "Vlad the Impaler" or "Atilla the Hun" treatment and become viewed as some "cool" villian by future youth.
Here is a Hitler Ronald Mcdonald

Believe it or not, there was a Rumanian restaurant called Drakula here in Austin. They served traditional Rumanian fare. Nothing that would reinforce the name. (Blood sausages or fried “stakes”, for example.) It was okay.
For sure, the name lured me in. “I GOTTA see what this is about!”

remember that this is Thailand -- they had no history of Hitler and they had their own villains, who we don't know of
Hitler was no Vlad the Impaler -- Adolf not only destroyed Germany and gave it perennial guilt, he destroyed ancient German settlements in the East --> by his actions the German question was solved by the Baltic Germans, Volga Germans, Romanian Germans, Sudetenland Germans etc being hounded out.
