Nearly six months after President Obama began his second term, the votes of some 1,600 Brooklyn residents who went to the polls were not counted until this week, the Daily News has learned. And they were counted now, why?
This is why I refuse to acknowledge Mr. Gore as the "final" winner of the so-called Popular Vote in 2000.
There there thousands upon thousands of ballots that were not counted in states where it would not affect the outcome of the elections.
Al Gore's "victory" was by 0.51% (half a percent). Without oversight to rule out fraudulent votes and tallying all of the mail in ballots, we will never know for sure (as close to a coin toss landing on the edge as we may ever see).
Even with the Florida Supreme Court approving the 3,000 military ballots there, they were not included in Katherine Harris' certified Florida tally (she held to her original number).
>>...thats not the point. Thats like saying, Im only one vote. How many other states/cities/counties disenfranchised voters?
The media still thinks that Watergate crimes are how Nixon "stole" the 1972 election. It did not create his victory but it sure got him out of office before the end of his term.
I propose we change voting laws. You win the congressional district, you get a point. Most points wins the state.
This way if Charlie Rangel’s district wants to vote at 110% for Obama, they still only get 1 point. Plus you have to live in the district to vote.
You mitigate voter fraud and you tie it to congress.
Oh gosh, those were my exact words - what difference does it make? Its Brooklyn - all votes for DEMONcrats anyway - nothing to see here - move along.
Was no real need to count the Brooklyn votes because he won in Ohio by 108%.
I have hgeard for some time that there was a legal dispute at some time in the past and as part of the settlement, the Republican party agreed that they would never challenge an election in court.
I don’t know if it’s true.
It is an excellent reason to start a new party, IMHO. Then, at least we could start with the right to question the fraud which occurs.
Well then if the Republicans can't/won't do it, then it's up to us TEA Partiers: We must infiltrate their organizations and get data and incriminating evidence on their tactics.
We must set up equivalent mechanisms, that is if they are bussing voters around, we bus voters around. etc.
If they fill out absentee ballots, we fill out absentee ballots.
If they discover boxloads of ballots in someone's trunk, or a warehouse, then we discover boxloads of ballots.
I'm tired of them stealing elections.
