Kenyan Cardinal John Njue, Archbishop of Nairobi and president of the Kenyan Episcopal Conference, joined other African leaders last week in open dismissal of President Obama’s urging to accept same-sex marriage.
“Those people who have already ruined their society…let them not become our teachers to tell us where to go,” said Njue in response to Obama’s statements promoting same-sex marriage. “I think we need to act according to our own traditions and our faiths.”

“This nation, the nation of Kenya [is] sovereign and God-fearing,” Ruto added.
“America has made tremendous contribution to Kenya’s well-being and we are very grateful and as a government we are ready to receive any help from America that will improve the lives of our people,” Ruto remarked. “But for these other things we hear, it is none of our business as it goes against our customs and traditions.”

Sounds like eminently sound advice to me. I’m not so sure Obama will pay any attention to it though.

So now it’s gotten to the point where Kenya and Africa are viable alternatives for those contemplating leaving the US. Whodaeverthunkit?
Seeing as it was Obozo’s goal to “fundamentally transform” America by destroying it, I wouldn’t doubt that Obozo doesn’t care that he has put us in a position where African nations can tell us off. I wouldn’t doubt that he’d like to put us in an even worse position.
That was EXACTLY my thought.
My teen daughter has been saying how sick she is of America, and she’s going to leave when she can. I mentioned Costa Rica - except you can’t have firearms there.
I guess I’ll be looking into Kenya’s laws.
