Actually, yes. She’s starting to complain slightly about government idiocy and taxes. She doesn’t rebut as much when I point out the dangers of government overreach and tyranny. Best of all, she’s stopped talking about going to work for the government.
Does anybody ever ask the losers on the Nobel Committee if they want their trinket back?
He’s certainly changed my world for the worse. I never thought I’d wake up to to such evil hatered of America coming from our own government much less around the world. Amerika in now a laughing stock.

Secretary of State John Kerry was caught with his swim trunks down as Egypt’s first democratically elected government fell to a military coup. His phone call into a security briefing from aboard his yacht on Wednesday was emblematic of the chaos and confusion in the Obama Administration as it found itself on the wrong side of history.
With the fall of the Muslim Brotherhood President Mohamed Morsi, President Obama’s plans for reshaping the Islamic world have taken a resounding hit.
Morsi had a lot in common with Obama, including an overcharged ego, reluctance to listen to the voters of his country and a tendency to ignore the law.
Unlike Obama, Morsi didn’t have the media or key military leaders backing him up.

Demoralization in America: The Separation of Means & Ends

The country is in moral crisis. The great majority of citizens appear to be aware of the dire situation, even if they do not recognize it in such terms. They may feel powerless to change the cultural decay or that they have no recourse but to pray for the fate of the country. But a fundamental understanding of the ideological and political sources of our nation’s demoralization would do much to empower a counter-movement dedicated to preserving American values and defeating their opponents.
A radical minority desires social breakdown as an opportunity to promote its leftward political agenda. It is hard for most Americans to contemplate why a sizable number of their fellow citizens would seek to purposefully throw the country into tumult. Many commonly give the left too much credit for noble intentions, such as aiding the poor, protecting the helpless, and defending supposed victims. There may be many people who vote Democrat who have such admirable aims, but they do not have a deep enough appreciation for the moral means of advancing these worthy goals.
One of the best ways to understand radical leftists is to know what they know and to read whom they admire. Two main sources that are easily readable are Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, and just as tellingly, Reveille for Radicals. Both were influential in molding the thinking of the left’s top leadership; namely, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Not all by himself.
I’m two months older than he is and was exposed, up until the 4th grade, to some of same public school processes that manufactured Comrade Chairman’s “Dazed and Confuzed” generation of Useful Idiots.
The difference is I was raised by a family that still had relatively fresh memories of both Russia and America - a family that, unlike the Communists who raised Comrade Chairman Obama, still very much appreciated the later.
