In most,if not all,cases obesity is a matter of self control and some basic knowledge of protein,vitamins,serving portions,exercise,etc.I’ve been overweight in recent years...but not in my youth.I blame myself.Not the country...not the government...not my doctor...not McDonald’s...myself.

Oh, I **DO** blame the government for my being fat. But then, I never DID fully recover from that ejection seat accident. Hell, I consider myself lucky to be able to hobble along with a cane.

But again, I was injured rather severely, and so I actually HAVE a REAL excuse: they didn’t expect me to be able to STAND again, much less **walk** (for values of “walk”. . . )
