I have to believe that Obama is somehow convincing these nations to aid the US in stopping Snowden from any more leaks of info...makes me wonder how what is in those files might be influencing other countries to jump on the “get Snowden” bandwagon.

The math is pretty simple: if I harbor a citizen of another country who committed espionage against that country, then I have little chance that I will be able to ask other countries for help when I need to track down one of my own fugitives.

There are rules.

I think maybe they dont want to get scorn of Obama. I also think many countries DO want Snowden to release more info on US international spying on them. Once Snowden start flapping his lips about international matters the game changed.
