He would not be here fighting the good fight.
He would be arrested under the Patriot Act and his right to discuss anything is removed by the PA, including discussing anything about his case.further his prosecution would be completely secret.
He would get dumped in some dark hole never to be seen again.
He really should have stopped at the domestic issues.
Snowden crossed the line when he had said the NSA had hacked Chinese mobile-phone companies to collect millions of text messages and had also hacked Tsinghua University in Beijing. He even provided documents that listed details of specific episodes during a four-year period.
And when he said that the NSA had planted bugs in EU offices in Washington, New York, and Brussels, and had infiltrated their computer networks.
It does not matter if the enemy already knew from their own sources (and you do not know that they did). An American that was trusted with this information confirmed it.
It's the fact that Snowden is and was in a position to confirm it - and he did. That's the problem.
I understand what you're saying about exposing Obama on the domestic stuff. I also feel the same as you do about it. And up to that point I agree with you. I wished he had stopped there.
