Maybe when calling our pathetic Congresspeople, we should threaten 3rd party formation if Amnesty passes. That should get their attention more than the usual run-of-the-mill "Tell him/her to vote no" approach.
If a few hundred thousand "GOPers" call and say we are out if you pass amnesty, wouldn't that get their attention? I think so since it has been floating around the web lately.
Just a thought.
I don’t have to wait for Amnesty, I am ready to join a third party now, as soon as one opens up that I like.
There is no “threaten”. There is only Do or Do Not.
Wouldnt that be (threatening to) closing the barn door after all the animals run away?
Once amnesty passes we will be told to move on and how Obama and Dems want to kills us all, after they spy on us, and it will sound so scary that we will forget all about this.
I went with the Libertarian Party for the 2012 election because their candidate was Gary Johnson, my State's former governor and really good — so good that he, as a republican, got reelected while the state was still solidly democrat; he also left the state with a big budget surplus. Seriously better than Obamney.

If your boss supports ANY immigration bill (because we know it will be conferenced and we will be sold out by House leadership):
Threat 1 - I will work to support a primary opponent against your boss.
This means I will donate money and volunteer my time knocking on doors and making phone calls to ensure my neighbors and fellow constituents know they have an alternative to your squish of a boss.
Threat 2 - if by some chance your boss survives a primary challenge, I will donate to, work for and vote for third partyor I will stay home and not vote for your boss.
Threat 3 - all of the above goes for the national party and presidential elections. We are done here.
I honestly don't think they care.

Private persons and entities may initiate civil suits to obtain injunctions and treble damages against enterprises that conspire to or actually violate federal alien smuggling, harboring, or document fraud statutes, under the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO). The pattern of racketeering activity is defined as commission of two or more of the listed crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any individual legal entity, or a group of individuals who are not a legal entity but are associated in fact, and can include nonprofit associations.
Here’s what I’ve been pushing: it’s time to file Racketeering, Influencing, and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) lawsuits.
RICO lawyers could turn it around in a few years and MAKE MONEY at the same time. I’m surprised they haven’t done it already.
In the absence of enforcement, we can get the word out in the meantime that there is money to be made in filing RICO lawsuits against employers who hire illegal aliens like this jerk.
Employers would have no trouble shutting down the border if they could get sued by someone under the RICO statutes for hiring these people in the first place. The next time an illegal alien kills someone in a drunk driving accident or somesuch thing, I’m going to point out that the victim’s family might be able to seek compensation from the employer under these statutes in the hopes that it would catch on. If this did catch on, would see such a swift backlash against illegal immigration that no employer would go near these people and they’ll all simply want to go back home.
